Sony SA-VS310 Home Theater System - Customer Reviews by P. Vandenberg : I bought this speaker system for use with a Sony A/V receiver and a Sony Bravia TV. The system was well packed and arrived undamaged. I have only minor complaints. One: the conductors in the included speaker wires (nicely stripped and tinned) are thin and flimsy – connecting them to the speakers was tricky, and banana plugs were needed to get them connected to the receiver. The connectors on the left, right, and center channel speakers are clips and given the thin conductors it was easy to accidentally disconnect a speaker wire when installing the left and right speakers on their (included) stands. The way the included stands are constructed, it would be nearly impossible to upgrade to thicker speaker cables. Those minor quibbles aside, assembly and setup were fairly easy and the sound is a huge improvement over the speakers built into the TV.
